There are two other possible Cornsalad species: "Keeled-Fruited Cornsalad" and "Narrow-Fruited Cornsalad" and you can only tell these three apart by their fruits. Luckily I've got a later image.

It's Common Cornsalad because these fruits (only a couple visible) are round in profile, slightly flattened. Keel-Fruited have fruits square in cross section and Narrow-Fruited has flask-shaped fruits.
